برنامج دكتور البصريات
درجة مهنية شاملة معتمدة من المركز الوطني للتقويم والاعتماد الأكاديمي، تُعدّ الخريجين لممارسة مهنة البصريات وفق أعلى المعايير الدولية، وتجمع بين التأهيل الأكاديمي المتين والخبرة السريرية الواقعية.
ⓘتوجد خطتان دراسيتان مطبّقتان حالياً. بدأ تطبيق البرنامج المحدّث المعروض في هذه الصفحة في الفصل الأول 2026، ويستمر الطلبة المقبولون قبل 2026 على الخطة السابقة حتى تخرّجهم.

رسالة البرنامج
تأهيل كوادر وطنية مهنية حاصلة على درجة دكتور البصريات، تمتلك مهارات وكفايات طبية متقدمة للعمل كأخصائيين في تقديم خدمات طبية شاملة لصحة وسلامة العين والجهاز البصري في عيادات طب العيون والبصريات، مُدرَّبة في بيئة تعليمية بمعايير عالمية تشجّع على خدمة المجتمع، وملتزمة بالقيم الأخلاقية للمهنة والقيم الإسلامية.
أهداف البرنامج
- 1توفير أساس متين في العلوم الطبية الحيوية وعلوم الرؤية ذات الصلة بالبصريات، ودمج المعرفة النظرية بالممارسة السريرية.
- 2تنمية كفايات الطلبة في الرعاية البصرية الأولية، بما في ذلك القدرة على تشخيص الحالات العينية الشائعة والتعامل معها.
- 3تشجيع التعلّم مدى الحياة ومشاركة الطلبة في البحث السريري والعلمي، وتعزيز ممارسة البصريات القائمة على الدليل.
- 4تعزيز المشاركة الفاعلة في خدمة المجتمع ومبادرات الصحة العامة للارتقاء بالرعاية البصرية المجتمعية.
- 5ترسيخ المعايير الأخلاقية والمهنية للممارسة في جميع الأنشطة السريرية والأكاديمية.

Explain the basic sciences relevant to optometry, including human and ocular anatomy and physiology, pathogenic mechanisms, and principles of visual perception and development.

Describe fundamental optical and geometric principles and their application in optometric practice including ophthalmic lenses, ophthalmic instruments, ophthalmic prisms, the human eye's optical system, contact lenses and low vision aids.

Identify the pathogenesis and manifestations of common ocular and systemic diseases, including ocular emergencies, and the principles of their management.

Identify the etiology and management of refractive errors and abnormalities in the visual system.

Prescribe optical, therapeutic, and pharmaceutical interventions for the management of visual system disorders, including spectacles, contact lenses, vision therapy, low vision aids, and myopia control.

تدريب عملي في كبرى المستشفيات مقسّم إلى ثلاث فترات مدة كل منها أربعة أشهر، يمنح الطلبة خبرة تطبيقية قيّمة في بيئات الرعاية الصحية الواقعية.

سنة الامتياز السريري يقدّم الطلبة خلال السنة السادسة رعاية مباشرة للمرضى تحت الإشراف بصفتهم أطباء امتياز، ويُلزَم جميع الطلبة بالتدريب خارج الجامعة لجزء من تدريبهم السريري. وتُقسَّم سنة الامتياز إلى ثلاث فترات مدة كل منها أربعة أشهر، توفّر خبرة عملية قيّمة في بيئات الرعاية الصحية الواقعية بكبرى المستشفيات.
