Admission Criteria

In addition to the admission requirements enumerated in the Unified Law Organizing Graduate Studies at Saudi Universities and King Saud University rules the Department requires the following:

•     A bachelor's degree in clinical nutrition obtained from King Saud University or equivalent, with a grade of at least "2.75/5.0" or equivalent.

•      Completion of an internship period in the field of Clinical Nutrition or equivalent training/ experience as a dietitian.

•      Obtaining the professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health specialties.

•      A minimum TOEFL score of 53 (IBT) (Internet-Based Test) or equivalents scores of other official language tests is required for admission to the program.

•      The student must pass the written exam scheduled by the department.

•      The student must pass the oral exam (Personal interview) scheduled by the department.

   

Note: 

•     Currently, the department is planning to development a specialized tracks within the Master’s programs in Nutrition, in alignment with professional needs and emerging academic directions.
