Program's mission
Provide an educational, scientific, and research environment capable of qualifying specialized and competitive cadres in the field of clinical nutrition. Such cadres will be equipped with modern skills and knowledge who are capable of producing unique scientific research that can contribute to society in terms of building a knowledge society and solving health issues related to nutrition. This also includes meeting the societal needs in this field, which positively impacts the nutritional state in the whole society.
Program's objectives
1-Prepare graduates with distinctive cadres in the field of medical education and scientific research to support Clinical nutrition program in KSA.
2- Develop graduate's competences in critical thinking problem-solving effective communication that help them work effectively with the cooperation with health care team in dealing with diet-related diseases.
3-Empower graduates with skills that enable them to evaluate the current nutrition policies and programs and determine the need for establishing or developing nutrition policies and programs that aid in health promotion and eating behavior.
4- Enhance graduate's research skills to yield original scientific researches that file the gap in the literature in the field of nutrition at the national, regional, and global level.
