Program Mission
Provide healthcare professionals with the necessary skills to enable them to assess needs and conduct research related to health promotion and education for people at all stages of life, as well as to plan, develop, implement and evaluate interventions to improve the health and well-being of the individual and society.
Program Objectives
1. Mastery of skills in the field of health promotion and education, which contributes to the improvement of clinical, educational, administrative and community practice and work in a homogeneous medical team and sincerely maintain the ethics of the profession.
2. Conducting scientifically sound applied research and studies related to specialization based on evidence, characterized by originality, innovation and critical thinking in order to serve the objectives of development and continuous development.
3. Acquire skills to identify educational needs and health and behavioral problems and priorities and the use of quantitative and statistical methods to analyze and diagnose the health, cultural and social situation.
4. Select and use theories and models of health education and behavioral modification appropriate to explain the behavioral and environmental factors of health problems, and build effective interventions and programs for health promotion and education.
5. Master the skills of planning, implementation and evaluation of health education and promotion programs and management systems and ensure their quality at the community level, health services, workplaces and schools
